LA Textile Week: the agony

Doh!  Its LA Textile week and I won’t be able to make it down to see the show!  I am crestfallen…..

I so wanted to go through all of the yummy fabrics, dreaming of it being an Alladin’s cave of unimaginable treasures.   No doubt, I’ll be waiting until next year, but decisions had to be made and though I can see all the yummy clothes just over the horizon, my skills are not quite there yet to justify the trip and with the economy being where it is (in a hole, like a groundhog deciding whether to poke its head out), perhaps it will be well worth the wait!  How I hate making grown-up decisions…..

A list of the attendees and a description of the market itself.  Never as good as being there but at least it will give me some inkling of what I am missing.  A little day dreaming and web surfing can’t hurt.

California Fashion Association.  Their mission:  The California Fashion Association (CFA) is a non-profit organization established to provide information for business expansion and growth to the apparel and textile industry of California. 

Espace Textile.  French Textile Association.
