Knotted Wing 2012 (front & back)
This piece was inspired by the idea of ambition & limitation. Its symbolism also encompasses notions of
mortality, religion, and spirituality. My favorite part is how it transitions from raw wool to needle felt and then to the
fully-fledged, wet-felted wings which evokes evolution, growth & transformation.
