Good Clothes, Bad Photos 2

I’ve been recycling shawls to make these experimental clothes and test out my fledgling pattern-making skills. This one is done from a simple vest pattern with armhole dart. The pattern might need to be adjusted for the hang in the front: little lower methinks….This shawl was the “Euphrates Wrap” and it had rivers and flowers in a sort of kid’s drawing of the Middle East kind of way. Qute colors (“Cute with a “q” equals uber-unresistably cute)!! I really like the way the different parts of the picture work together to make the vest, especially the flowing motif over the shoulders.

Here are quick photos of a new vest I made in Nuno Felt. The buttons are a bit distracting, I think-but so nice. Those flourescent lights, though-sheeesh.
